Welcome to St. Mary's Parish

Something that many people do not know is that many families in our parish include non-Catholics, of both other Christian faiths and also non-Christian backgrounds.

I think that it is important to know that if you, your spouse, or another family member in your household is not Catholic, you are welcome as a part of this community!

For anyone who is not Catholic or those who were baptized Catholic and have not yet received all the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion) we have something called "OCIA".

OCIA stands for the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a process by which those who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith with the desire to become members of the Catholic Church can receive the sacraments of initiation and be fully welcomed into the Church during the Season of Easter every year.

Algo que muchos desconocen es que muchas familias de nuestra parroquia incluyen personas no católicas, tanto de otras religiones cristianas como de orígenes no cristianos.

Creo que es importante saber que si tú, tu cónyuge u otro familiar de tu hogar no es católico, ¡son bienvenidos a formar parte de esta comunidad!

Para quienes no son católicos o quienes fueron bautizados como católicos y aún no han recibido todos los sacramentos de iniciación (Bautismo, Confirmación y Sagrada Comunión), tenemos algo llamado "OCIA".

OCIA significa la Orden de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos. Es un proceso mediante el cual quienes desean aprender más sobre la fe católica y desean convertirse en miembros de la Iglesia Católica pueden recibir los sacramentos de iniciación y ser plenamente bienvenidos a la Iglesia durante el Tiempo de Pascua cada año.
